Our Expertise
The areas we accompany, described plainly.
The following pages describe, for informational purposes only, the fields in which our team is active. Nothing here is an offer, a solicitation, or investment advice — it is simply an honest account of what we do and how we think about it.
Wealth Planning
We look at a family's full financial picture — liquidity needs, existing holdings, tax residency, and long-term intentions — before forming a view on structure. Our planning work is about sequencing decisions sensibly over years, not reacting to markets week to week.
This includes reviewing existing portfolios for concentration and cost, mapping cash-flow needs across life stages, and coordinating with tax and legal advisors so that plans remain consistent across disciplines.
Multi Family Office
Several of the families we work with need more than portfolio advice. They need one point of contact who can speak with their tax advisor, their attorney, and their bank on their behalf, and who understands how each decision touches the others.
Our multi family office practice brings that coordination together — meeting cadences, shared reporting, and a single narrative that the whole family, across generations, can follow.
Fee-Based Investment Advisory
Our advisory fees are agreed directly with each client and are not linked to the products used to implement a plan. We believe this is the only structure that removes the incentive to recommend one solution over another for reasons other than suitability.
In practice, this means fully disclosed fee schedules, regular reporting on what has been paid, and a willingness to explain, in plain language, why a particular approach was chosen.
Governance & Succession
Many of the disagreements families face later could have been avoided by a conversation held earlier. We help families put a light governance structure in place — family councils, written principles, or simple decision frameworks — so that succession is discussed calmly, well before it becomes necessary.
This work is deliberately unhurried. It often takes place over several meetings across a year or more, and it is never something we consider finished.
How we work
A few principles that shape every engagement
Independence first
No commissions, no product targets, no affiliated institutions.
Continuity of relationship
The same advisor accompanies a family for as long as they wish to work with us.
Plain language
We would rather take longer to explain something than let a client nod along unconvinced.
